It’s March 14 (3/14/16) and the celebration of (3.14) or Pi which is the mathematical constant, the ratio of a circle’s circumference to its diameter. This is a tongue and cheek nod to pie which is usually a round pastry made with different fillings and toppings. I believe Pi and Pie are both good.
Enjoy a piece of pie today. Savory or sweet its all good.
Thanks, Tony Burgess, for this great memory and jump-start to the week! When I was first diagnosed with bipolar (manic depression then) this song came out and it was kind of a personal theme song. Ironically, it would actually soothe my moods and soul a little with its upbeat tempo and catchy lyrics. Now I have the bipolar pretty much under control (as much as you can I guess) I still love this song!
This just seemed fitting for this Monday because it is indeed manic. Its a peppy tune which is good.
