Just thought I would do a quick check-in even though the formal one is on Monday.
I weighed myself yesterday morning because I was going to the doctor and knew she would want to know. I couldn’t believe my eyes when the scale said 232.0 pounds! That is a full 11.2 pounds down from three weeks ago and 4.2 pounds less than Monday! Yes, it is probably mostly fluid. However, I can feel the difference. and can start to see it in my face.
We went for dinner after the doctor to ride out the rush hour traffic going back over the bridge. I ate grilled chicken and salad which is good. My indulgences were some fries and a good sized scoop of vanilla frozen yogurt. However, my activity level was up so I hope it balanced itself out.
I have the excitement that early success can bring, which is good. I also know that there will be setbacks and am prepared for that. I believe that, at the moment, I am on track for the long run.
Now for the weekend…
Lydia!
Yay!

Good job! 🙂 I lost a little weight recently and I didn’t notice until I started thinking about how much easier it was to perform a certain task. Then I started thinking of other tasks and it just hit me, ‘Holy crap, I’ve lost weight!’ 🙂 It helps once you can actually see the results!

Yes, it does. I feel slightly more mobile, which is part of the goal. I need to get the weight off to be and feel healthier.

Thanks. I didn’t have a c-section. My weight is from chronic pain and depression – not being active enough and eating the wrong foods. But yes, it all takes time! 🙂

Thank god for no c section but it’s hard to lose weight when you have so many other things to do

Thanks, Diane, I remember the last time I was able to do this the more I lost and felt better the more I wanted to lose. So let’s hope for the same outcome! 🙂

This is kind of the last chance. I’m getting up in age and my conditions are getting worse so it is get the weight off or suffer the consequences. I am too much of a fighter not to at least try!
