Song Lyric Sunday – “Heart of Glass”

The theme for this weeks’ Song Lyric Sunday is “Heart”. Check it out at This Thing Called Life One Word At A Time.

It didn’t take too long to pick Blondie’s song “Heart of Glass” and there are several reasons.

1. This song was a huge hit during a time when I surrounded myself with music.
2. Every nightclub or place with a dance floor had this on their playlist.
3. Deborah Harry and Blondie had many hits but this one was probably my favourite.
4. My nephew immortalized this song into my brain when he sang it like he heard it “Heart Attacks”.
5. I once had a heart of glass myself but my Hubby softened it and made it shatterproof!
