A Change of Heart

So, it is a little after midnight the first day of the new year, 2019. During the last month and a half since I decided to stop writing I really didn’t give it much thought. There was a lot going on and I had no regrets.

I still have no regrets. I still don’t totally know my reasons for wanting to start working on the blog again. What I do know is that just as I was sure it was time to let go, I am equally sure that I need to come back.

I don’t know what form my writing will take – whether it is daily, weekly, monthly or what I will write about. I just know that it is good to be here. I look forward to reconnecting with a lot of people that have become important to me.

One thing I know that will change is that I will be setting up a subscription and I hope that you will join that list. Don’t worry, I won’t bombard you with things. I am hoping to start with a weekly summary of what is here on the blog. Then we can take it from there.

Oh, and just in case you are wondering from the picture, no we don’t have snow up here in the great “wet” North of Canada. We had a few watery flakes a couple of days ago, but nothing you could really call snow. I just thought it was a nice picture of a heart (photo from Storyblocks)

So for now I wish everyone a very Happy New Year and look forward to catching up in the weeks and months to come.
