I Wish You a Merry Podcast
On my 60th birthday, October 4, 2018, I was fortunate enough to be interviewed for a podcast on Christopher Snider’s show Just Talking.
We discussed my dealings with mental illness and how they have helped me become an advocate for others in understanding the illness and fighting the stigma that surrounds it even still.
The podcast was published on Christopher’s sight on December 25th, 2019. I hope you enjoy it.
A note: the gravelly voice and pauses in my speech are parts of who I am thanks to my illnesses and what has happened as a result.
Lydia
Lydia Beier joins me for a conversation about living with depression and bipolar disorder, the challenges and opportunities that come with battling mental health stigma, and the value of starting a conversation to make a difference in people’s lives.
