I have been given this product as part of a product review through the Chronic Illness Bloggers Network. Although the product was a gift, all opinions in this review remain my own and I was in no way influenced by the company.
I have tried several supplements for my various illnesses over the years with varying degrees of success. Fibro Soothe by ProHealth seems to be one of the most complete formulas out there. The bottle claims the product can help with the following:
- Helps Comfort and Soothe Aching Muscles & Joints*
- Supports normal joint response to exercise*
- Helps with sleep & mood*
- Contains 9 specialized herbs and nutrients*
- support cartilage and joint function

The above points and disclaimer are taken from the product information to ensure that they are correct. I also like the fact that while the product is called “Fibro” soothe, they make no claims to work on fibromyalgia or any other particular disorder. For me, it is more about symptoms than diagnoses.
The main ingredients are:
While the daily recommended dose is 3 capsules 1 to 2 times a day, I took 2 capsules twice a day as I thought that would make the best use of the 120 capsules bottle I received. I didn’t feel much difference during the first week but soon started noticing that I wasn’t quite so fatigued and my muscles were not so stiff and sore.
I had to go off the supplement for a few days as I was scheduled for surgery which ended up being canceled at the last minute. I know there was a lot of stress over that but I do believe when I started up again on that day, I could feel the inflammation reducing again and the fog was definitely less.
One claim that I did not have good results was that Fibro Soothe will help with sleep. My insomnia is quite intense and there doesn’t seem to be anything that helps so I do not see that as a game breaker. I think if anything it may have helped me have more restful sleep once I got there.
As for my mood, I do believe there was a definite improvement there. I could think better, I wasn’t feeling so much like I was in a fog, and stressors didn’t seem to phase me as much as usual. I am sure these positives were from the Fibro Soothe because, a week or so after I ran out, the same things that didn’t phase me were once again affecting my moods.
I have tried some of the ingredients in Fibro Soothe separately prior to starting the supplement. Ginger in my morning smoothie and turmeric mixed in with peanut butter and spread on toast both helped my pain and inflammation. It just seems easier to take a capsule. Combined with the other ingredients it is a well-rounded supplement.
One thing of note, the capsules do contain soy and milk so if you have difficulties with either dairy or soy, Fibro Soothe may not be the best fit for you.
Would I recommend Fibro Soothe? most definitely. You can find it on the ProHealth site at the regular price of USD $32.49. However, it is currently on for 20% off at $29.99 (as of April 14, 2017 and is subject to change)!
Would I try it again? Yes, I have ordered a bottle. I do believe that while the results were not huge, anything that improves my way of life even a little and is derived from nature is a valuable pain management tool.
Lydia!
